How to use the closet designer

1. Select a pre-determined closet size or enter the dimensions of your closet, in centimeters or inches, and hit next.

Using a pre-designed closet template

1. Use the arrows on either side of the closet drawing to scroll through the pre-designed closet templates until you find the one you like.
2. Click CHOOSE THIS DESIGN button.
3. If you are happy with the design as it is, click I’M FINISHED and you will see a summary of the items that you used. You can then add related suggested items to your list if you wish.
4. If you would like to customize the design, click on any category heading to the right, i.e. HANGING, and a drop-down menu will show you the various choices in that category.
5. Drag the photo of the item into the closet outline shown and move it into the desired position.
6. If the images turn red when dragged into the closet, they are overlapping another product or there is not enough room left for the item. Try moving the items around.
7. Double click on an item to delete it.
8. Continue to design your closet until it's filled with all the items you like.
9. If you are happy with your new design, click I’M FINISHED and you will see a summary of the items that you used. You can then add related suggested items to your list if you wish.
10. Click “BUILD PDF” to save or print a pdf of your design and an itemized list of the products you used.

Starting with an empty closet

1. Click DESIGN YOUR OWN button.
2. Click on any category heading to the right, i.e. HANGING, and a drop-down menu will show you the various choices in that category. Drag the photo of the item into the closet outline shown and move it into the desired position.

How do I add items to my closet design?
Click & hold the image of the item in the dropdown menu on the right side of the screen, then drag into the closet and release.

How do I delete an item from my closet design?
Simply double click on the item you want to delete. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the item. Click yes.

Why do some items in my design fade and have a red glow?
A faded item with red means that you have items overlapping or there is not enough room in the closet left. You can either move items around until they fit and the red disappears, or double click to delete the items.

I have chosen a closet design and have started making edits, but I want to change my closet dimensions
Click CHANGE DIMENSIONS to go back to the to the beginning. However, the design you are presently working on will not be saved.

No items showed up in the dropdown menu on the right side of the page?
You need to click either CHOOSE THIS DESIGN or DESIGN YOUR OWN to see the items in the dropdown menu.

How do I see the other suggested closet designs?
Use the arrows on either side of the closet drawing to scroll through other suggested designs.

What is the height of the closet bar from the floor?
We have assumed the average height of a closet rod is 72” from the floor for our designs.

How do I save or print my design?
When you have completed a design you are happy with, click I’M FINISHED to see your closet and an itemized list of products in your design. Then click DOWNLOAD PDF to save or print with your computer’s browser settings.

How do get back to the beginning?
Simply click on the NEATFREAK! logo in the top left.
